I'm pretty much so OCD that I have to have completely unique pairs of socks.
Pretty weird I know, but I freak out at the though of have two or three identical pairs
It all depends if they are Gibson or Fender socks. If they are Fender socks are they pre-CBS or post-CBS. Are they American socks or are they SIM's (Socks in Mexico). Do they they have bolt on heels or are they straight thru the ankle. You really haven't given us enough information.
I probably own 40 pairs of socks. Outside of one pair to wear with a suit, they all look exactly like this

My birthday is in June. Between that and Christmas I didn't need to buy socks for 30 years .But I like socks for presents
On a more serious note about socks: I only wear blacks socks.
