Headed to pickup a vintage Aria Diamond 6810 from a local pawn shop tonight.

for $100 -not much to lose. In great condition but kinda funky MIJ Acoustic:

Zero Fret, Adjustable height bridge, Bolt on neck, solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides, nice inlay at the sound hole...

    Will post pics later.

After this fell through I found another vintage MIJ acoustic dread-
Ariana 9022, Appears to be in amazing condition from the photos and info sent. $115 (& an hour drive)
Seems like its in nearly new condition.

Can't find any info online, must be similar to the Aria 9022 Ariana was one of their sub brands.

Mid 70's? spruce top, mahogany neck, b&s? Laminate? It also has an adjustable bridge.

    Anybody know anything about these?

I'm pretty sure there budget line Arias. I would guess its worth closer to $20 or $30.

Yes they were the budget line of Aria. There was one sold on eBay recently for $47. Don’t pay $115 for it. I’d offer $30 to them if you really want it. You can get a decent used Yamaha for $115. Hell there was a used Taylor 110 on Craigslist here last month for $250.

    Thanks for the info,

Too bad its overpriced, because it appears to be pristine.
I am going to pass on this one after hearing your feedback. Was thinking that I wanted something vintage, but If I wait???

The shop near me does 25% off sales on clearance gear periodically, If I am patient I can get a pretty amazing new instrument, or new/ damaged guitar. Currently they have some major name guitars on clearance that are not moving, thinking that I might be able to score something pretty sweet (all solid with a crack?, there are a few) for ~ $300.

Otherwise I always keep a keen eye on CL, I live an half way between Seattle and Vancouver BC, both are about 70 minutes. Last summer we picked up an Art and Lutherie Ami Cedar with a few dings for $100CAD. While its a fun couch guitar for me, its a bit small, my wife really wants the Ami for herself.

I would never buy an acoustic guitar with a crack in it! Some small dings are okay but a crack will spread since an acoustic is thin and hollow.
