would like to hear some recommendation on some tunes that are good for relaxing. It’s my primary reason to listen to music, recently.

Doesn’t necessarily have to be meditation music or “pure moods,” but would be cool to find some more music that relaxes. Could be something to sleep to, just have on in the background at work, whatever

My go-to people right now are Martin Page, Dido, Rippingtons, etc.

Stuff in the vein of 90s Clapton and Sting I kinda dig too.

If there is anyone I should be checking out, please let me know.

Cool. I had heard of all the others besides ARS. I’ll give them all a second look. Thanks.

They are a very smooth band, no hystrionics...nice rock with a Southern feel. Barry Bailey might be the Fred Astaire of guitar players...silky smooth.

    Another nice one, IMHO

Ah yeah! That’s the classic chilling music from my childhood. Pure Moods albums had their stuff.
New Age music kinda had a renaissance in the 90s, then dropped off the face of the earth. It’s unfortunate.

It even crept into pop music with Clapton, Sting, Seal, Martin page, peter Gabriel, etc. too bad it’s out of vogue now. All the pads, cool drumbeats and bass lines, it was cool music.

I have a soft spot for ambient-like soundscapes that almost play a movie out in your mind. So far removed from most of my daily listening.

Something different as well, if it's not on your radar. I find vocal harmonies so calming. They're not Pet Sounds good but I love this song. Real relaxing.

This is the most intense I would ever consider something as “chill out music” but it’s so epic that I still consider it.

(Former) strat talk member @C2aye went and got a little famous. He is incredible, and this is way more jazzy than his usual stuff, but it’s really good.
