...did your eyebrows just get totally out of control? I'm 36 and I have to trim these bastards down every 2-3 weeks to keep from looking like an owl.

Eyebrows are nothing. Ears and nostrils are much faster when you get to my age...

Edit: AncientAx beat me to it!

Right around that time. A few years down the road there come the joys of trimming ear hair. That one I hate.

Thomquietwolf has understated the situation. When you get to 68 and a good bit, then you’re going to understand the problem! For me, no hair on the head, but it grows from all other facial orifices like crazy. You’re Best Buy would be an electric nasal trimmer with an ear attachment.

Don’t get the battery one, go for mains power, semi commercial.

I've been plucking my ear hair for about a year now. Can't stand it. I'll sit down with a pair of tweasers every month or so and pull those jerks out.

No wonder old men are just sprouting everywhere. After a while it's too much to keep up with. I'm still in the slightly vain stage. Maybe after 60 I will not give a damn and let my forest grow.

Coincidentally, I did recently look this up because the internet is fun. Apparently your body gets to that forgetful stage and loses the instructions on how long and thick certain hairs should be. So instead of staying in the equilibrium state they have been in the previous years, they just decide to go all out.

Going all out, full tilt and hard core is what its all about when you hit 60... In fact I sense a new extreme sport opportunity here..

    ok
    A topic usually avoided !!

Probably late 40s. I sometimes hold a comb through them and try to use electric shears to cut them. But I usually end up also cutting off my eyelashes as I'm trying to squint and see what I'm doing. Probably gonna just cleave my eye someday.

It kind of came to my attention watching an interview with older Lee Marvin as I was thinking to myself: Who in the hell let him sit down for a filmed interview with 12" eyebrows going everywhere?

I've been trying to keep them under control ever since. I think gravity is pulling my hair down from the head, where it used to grow, to my brows, ears and nose.

And most of us have at least once talked to "that guy" who has a four-inch black hair sticking straight out from the front of his nose. Trying not to stare at the giant follicle as we talk. The harder you try to avoid looking, the more you end up staring.

Yeah, man. Hair falls the hell off my head and the eyebrows/nosehair/earhair figure they have to take up the slack.

Tell me about it. How come only we men have this problem?

Further proof that God is a woman, if you ask me...

What a blessing, especially having been born in the humid South, to be smooth. :)
