It actually holds just the right amount of extras and doesn't take up too much real estate. My board is short on extra room. Plus it makes my picks taste good when I hold them in my mouth while finger picking.

09624CB2-E0EC-448E-9F9F-4E5EB11651FC.jpeg I have a couple of these in different rooms throughout the house. I literally have thousands of guitar pics in the house. While many people tend to lose theirs, I somehow manage to keep picking them up everywhere I go.

Free range picks are the ticket. Its the humane way to go.

I keep one in the strings of each of my guitars, a backup in each case, one in my wallet, a handful in a wooden bowl (Monkey pod or whatever) and the rest in an empty Fast Fret can in my road bag (old suitcase).

When I play out, I have one of those rubber pick holder things that attaches to my mic stand boom.

I haven't used picks much for the past few years, but somehow there are several on the floor of every room. Maybe I should clean once in a while?

    Nah.

Strat or Tele pickguards ( the old style with less screws work best)

I keep all my picks in the 4th dimension...

I mean, we all know that's where they go when you lose them.

I have several altoids tins. One each for Heavy, Med, Finger/thumb picks and one for the oddball random ones I seem to get from shops etc. I use heavies 99% of the time but I hate having to pick through a random pile of picks trying to get to the ones I want.
