So I have an opportunity for a classic Electric Mistress from the UK. A 230V power supply is included (not the permanently attached version) but obviously in the US we use 110V.

Can I find a US wall wort to power it or does it require 230V?

I would assume - that since this is an AC to DC adapter it will put out the current that the pedal requires regardless of the incoming current. You could easily verify this, by looking at the power supply.

Yeah, I just didn't want to assume anything. I'm not electrically inclined with volts, amps, watts, joules, etc.

Each adapter should say what they put out to the pedal. If they are the same I would go for it.

Does your Mistress have an A/C power cord running off the back (like the 80s deluxe), or does it use a wall wart?

    Let's see some pictures

The power cord detaches (I think positive center) and is 24V and 100mA and is 240V for British plugs.

So if I buy an EHX 24V 100mA 110V wall wort, it should be fine, right?

If you have this kind of powersupply, note that it can accept either 220 or 110, you just swap the cord.

But otherwise, yes you can use that 24vdc supply from EHX

It should be fine as long as the grounding is the same. I.e. center negative or whatever the pedal has.
