Working on a new project that will have a bit of a Ritchie Blackmore flair when it's done.

I've got a vintage white Squier body with a rosewood '89 Am Std neck and EMG passive humbuckers that I was not entirely happy with - mainly because the neck is shot. It was off my very first strat and is just simply played to death - frets are toast, it is a painfully thin neck, and to top things off the low E tuner has started to fail (I'm guessing a stripped gear.) Also, being so thin and due to some issues with the neck pocket it sits really low and you can barely get a 3 ply pickguard under the 22nd fret.

I had already ordered a black Lace Sensor Hot Gold Bridge set and then found a neck for sale that has had the frets professionally leveled and crowned, refinished in amber nitro and had a 70's style logo added.

Fingers crossed but I think the final product should look pretty cool - parts ETA between Friday and Saturday.
Cool thing is that I usually play that guitar alongside my vintage white "Jimi Malmsteen" maple board strat, so they should look like a matched set...

Yeah, the hot bridge Lace Sensor really barks, but it still has a single coil sound, so it still captures the Blackmore sound...

I think I still have one, actually - hasn't seen the light of day since that infamous Seinfeld episode...
