A pat on the back for me for spotting that. You're rather lucky to have one of those to have made it all the way there. They were a last year FSR. Usually like 200 to 350 made in a run like that.
It was quite a stroke of luck find and a to-die-for colour.
When I was doing my pre-purchase research, the customer support rep @ fender usa asked me 'are you sure that's the serial number?' I confirmed with obligatory pics etc. and requested confirmation all was good with it.
He sent me the build sheet confirming everything and suggested I was barking mad if I did not buy that guitar for the asking price. So I did
I have had more than my share of strats and s-types and all of them have been moved on after a short time. This one is going absolutely nowhere. holy hell thats a lot of buttons to push
@JB74 The first time I saw that color was on one of these. Sonic blue is okay, Surf green is alright, Daphne blue, acceptable. But TT, is grrrreat.
The '57 bel-air colours remind me of central America - from Belize to Bogotá
I haven't visited Bodean's Lounge in a while, so I guess it's time to contribute!

Technicolor and Kodachrome all wrapped up in one... An I do dream in color. Maybe Circles can hook me up to a VR experience like that... or some absinthe before it was banned.
Ah whoee. I gotta run around and turn the clocks back 11 hours. Thank goodness this place here is open all night. Oh crap @Bodean... ya gonna lose an hour of business!
Almost forgot thanks for the reminder. We're open 24 hours a day. An hour won't matter.
Anytime is good for bubblegum.
Ever wonder who sets the atomic clock back an hour?
