Version 2 and three both added effects and controls. So Tone Studio had to be updated to support the new functions.

By the way, the V3.0 alpha FxFloorboard is now available for testing. ;)

I really wish the rotary effect had a wet dry mix parameter

I suppose I could use the chorus effect

Just wanted to make a wee more subtle on the tone I’m putzing around with.

Just curious what everyone’s favorite channel/voice is. I haven’t moved off of the crunch channel since I got it. I put it on the others briefly im just loving the crap out of the crunch channel.

Great clean tone with a little grit and also have a channel set with the clean boost and one with Tubescreamer stomp.

It would be cool if Boss created an “FX edit” mode on the panel where if you hold down a button it engages and turns the three FX knobs into assignable parameter adjust knobs for whatever effect you have selected. Be nice to be able to adjust say the level, depth, and rate of a chorus or something like that.

Initially - brown. But lately I have been mostly on the clean with a reverb dialed in.

Crunch is definitely my go-to setting at the moment, although I also use the clean, with some boost/tubescreamer for a bit of dirt etc. Mainly use spring reverb, but had to adjust advanced settings and set sensitivity to 0, as I was getting some weird chirpy noises/sounds when playing...

I want to play around and fine a good "base" clean/crunch, that will take my Klamac ElMo and my Lovepedal Super Six "Stevie" pedals... :)

Played around with some pedals last night. Boy this really takes pedals well. So far only tried my RAT and my Fulltone 70.

Another thing I discovered was the solo switch on the 60s fuzz. Gives I tight focused little boost.

Thinking about getting cheap 2 button footswitch so access 4 presets. The GAFC is a bit pricey.

I just got one of these cheap footswitches:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Dua...746.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.488e4c4d4y7Psn

Added a basic TRS cable, and works fine, one button switches between channels, the other switches between banks. You have to manually press the "panel" button to back to the default front panel, but works great for what I need :)

There's another bugfix firmware update (V3.02) available now.

Other than manually going back to panel....
Will it loop through the chanels?

A normal footswitch can only toggle between two states, so only two channels and two banks, which is ideal for the 50. To loop through the four channels on the 100 needs the GA-FC pedal.

Yep, sorry forgot to mention I'm using this footswitch on a Katana 50. One switch toggles between the channels, the other changes between the banks. If I'm on say, Channel 1 - Bank B, and click the switch that changes channel, it will then go to Channel 2 - Bank B etc

I use a Peavey 2 button footswitch with my Kat 50 with no problems, left button toggles banks, right button toggles channels. I borrowed the switch from my Delta Blues and it works fine.
