Congrats on discovering all the advantages of new technology.
Been playing nd exploring since Katana 100 arrived yesterday.
Which amp cover was suggested for the 1X12 ?
Each of my guitars have found their voices with this amp.
My Casino hasn't sounded this good in awhile.
Congrats on the new amp. Really like mine also.
For a lot less geets you can use a Mustang III cover which apparently fits perfect. Not sure if the Fender logo would cast some evil juju on this fine amp though.
Just got the Katana 100 1x12 today. love it!
Still not up to speed, matter of fact dead in the water on the sneeky amp bit.
If I were ever to take it anywhere(Roguestock), I'd probably need the switch.
Jury is still out.
Doesn't take forever to warm up like the Carvin.
Put a Fender cover on my Kat 50 as soon as it arrived. Blues Jr. cover I believe.
Couple Blackstars also have Fender covers.
Yep.. that's the only new FMIC product I buy.
Any problem with 'fizz' after using those covers?
Oh wait................. that was a Blues Jr. cover, so probably no fizz issue!
Hasn't come up yet...
Guess I'd better investigate a cover for the KT head.
I just traded my Mustang GT for the K50 yesterday. Really enjoying the sounds I get out of this amp. Looking forward to spending more time with the Sneaky Amp set list too.
I gigged with my 100w head. I still don't have a cab yet, I plan on building my own 2x12, so we micd it up. I got several compliments on my sound and found the amp held up well.
Are you saying you mic'd up the little driver in the head and got a good PA sound?
Over on the Gear Page thread people have done that and reported good results.
Yes, that is what I did. I used sneaky amps to get a mesa boogie vintage rectifier sound.
Wow, there's a club?! I got my 212 on May 31, and I love it. If I didn't LOVE some of the effects and options on my Pod, I'd probably get rid of that, but 4 cable method works great with it. Can't wait to really crank it up. Anyone got a Mini yet?
Sittin here this afternoon
Dickin with patching two cabs to satisfy the incoming Super Sonic 22 head...
Knowing the Katana will tolerate inexactness in ohm loads.
So I get to a point and settings my Tele likes...
Go get the black peavey, sort of a rogue, it..
Still sounds good...
Kept on dickin with it ....
Lost the spot...
Took 60 minute, or an hour to find my way back...
Gotta take a picture...
That tone could be useful...
Thought to myself...
Yes Ono, whatcha want...
Well self, Damn shame Boss doesn't make a Katana peddle...
Ono, you're just a wasted life and a fool...
GT1, GT 100
You can get a GT100 for $500 or get a $329 Kat 100 which is the GT100 built into a great amp.
Not worth flipping a coin over.
Especially when you already own the Katana Head like Thom does...
Had my 100 since June. Ain't no going back!
