Friends don't let friends buy Behringer. Boogera is Behringer.

Bug era (intentional) amps are made by Behringer. Simple as that. Cheaply made, reverse engineered junk. Andrea's Laney is a better amp than any Boogera stuff.

The clean channel on my Bugera V22 blew away any Fender I ever tried (including my Rivera designed 1982 Fender Deluxe Reverb II) ....but the gain channel was sterile and cold biased sounding....

FWIW, I recently purchased a Bugera T5 (5 W) head and think it's a nice little amp. Opened it up and was satisfied with the apparent quality of parts/workmanship. Bugera had some teething issues but from what I've read online the recent models have a good rep. I would ask how old 55 head is and then decide if it's worth pursuing.

IMO, the Rivera era amps are mediocre Fenders, one step up from the Hot Rod and Blues stuff they make now. Psuedo-boogie blah.

I'm glad you like your Bugera. I reserve the right to say they're not my cup of tea.

Well now I don't feel so bad that it's gone lol - sold it like 15 years ago....but it had a lot of gain on tap, awesome drive channel on that Rivera DRII

I dint know if they hard to get in Europe, but anything from Jet City is worth getting. Simply great amps.
