I'm looking for an American deluxe neck in RW...where would I find one with a good price, Fender sells them for around $540 new which is quite high given that you could get a used AmDlx for $800-900. You can get it from Warmoth for around $350.

I looked at Ebay, it seems that I have to wait until one pops up..... any other suggestions?

To get an American Deluxe with the same compound neck thst Fenders sells seperately, you’ll have to get a 2010 or newer model.

If you can find one in good condition for $800-900, I suggest you grab it.

I went direct from Fender for mine. Very glad I did.

On another project, purchased neck from Stratosphere, and got screwed.

They go for a little less on eBay, for about $560-570, but that's from the stratosphere (eBay shop) and it seems that ryunker had a bad experience, which would make me think twice before going down that route. A warped neck is useless.

I just bought a custom with the same wood combination (alder/maple) as my 2008 Dlx, that's why I'm looking into a RW neck.

Would an elite strat neck work?
