I bought my Strat second hand over a decade ago, it's a 2001 MIM Standard Strat.

Two of the three pickups have the Fender Custom Shop sticker on them? Is this normal for a MIM of that date range?

If I indeed have CS pickups, is there any way of tracking down what make model? Is there a way to tell by looking? I don't have a multi-meter.

Also, is there a way to check if other electronics were upgraded? If the pickups were, I'm just wondering at this point.

    Thank you for the welcome!

I'm know the last thing this forum needs is another "help me with my pickups post". That said, I was recommended here by some friends who I trust. They said the folks here were the best.

I think I altered some privacy settings on the photos, hopefully they work now. I can't link the photos because I'm too new of a user.

Yes, there's definitely work been done in there.
Note the rough solder work on the back of the volume pot.
Bottom pot looks to be a no-load with maybe a grease bucket tone circuit.

That's an older version of the CS sticker so my guess is that the pickups may be older than the guitar.
Possibly Texas Specials (red and blue dots) but I'm puzzled by the lack of yellow lead on the middle.
The missing sticker is trivial because these very commonly fall off.

Can you post pix of the neck and middle coils and tops. Also DC resistance readings.

Something fishy looking (middle may not be Fender ??) is that a gray lead, are they cloth as well ?? The others are black and white.

Nope... the Texas specials will have a black and yellow lead from the middle pup.. But they are CS pups... and that's a classic example of what a solder job is NOT supposed to look like..

Agreed, as Tone Guru pointed out already and as can be seen the pic I posted. It is obvious that the soldering was fiddled with and it could be that someone decided to do without the wires that would've come with the pups...

I can post the pictures tonight. I've been swamped with work. I cannot however offer DC resistance readings.

Is there anything else I can offer to help identify these?

So here is every pickup, from the outside and inside. Middle pup is cloth wiring too.

Looks like a 'mix-n-match' set to me.
    (not really a bad thing)

The bevel on the magnets of the bridge and middle don't match that of the neck.
Also, It's difficult to see the color of the coil wire in the photos.
Can we get a peek at the coil magnet wire ?

Can you observe the magnetic polarity with a compass ?
The middle, if RPRW, would have the opposite reading of the others.
At this point it's probably not due to the lack of the yellow lead.

Were those lock washers stuck to the bottom of the bridge all along ?
    They should be removed.

The look like "Fat 50s" to me - a resistance reading would help

What they actually are is far less important than what they sound like.
    Just sayin' ;)

So, ... how do they sound ?

My guess is fat 50s at the bridge and middle. Texas Special at the neck...and that they sound awesome!
