The date and time should be a bit more vibrant in color. It's almost undetectable

I sent it to the venue.. their exact response was: "Wow! I love it! Very professional!"

Increase line spacing on "Flying Half Full." The word "full" is touching the word above it in a disagreeable way. Also, grammar nerds suggest hyphenating it as "half-full," although a hyphen will look bad on a line break.

Find a font that's easier to read. Lose the 19th century motif. It looks like an invitation to a quilting bee.

    .

I know you turned it in already but try inverting the colors. Make all the scroll-work in red and all the lettering in white.

The WHR color fade may look like a printing error (or be difficult for the print shop to pull off).

I agree. My first thought was that it was a very old fashioned typeface - sort of Gothic. Suitable perhaps for an antique fair?

Or is it a Goth band? It depends on the image you're trying to project. What musical style is the band?

Also, how many different fonts are used in the flyer? It looks like too many to me.

Next time, try the online tool canva.com. Hands down the best tool for DIY graphical design.

Band have been known to include misspellings on purpose...Def Leppard, The Beatles. I think a missing hyphen is OK :).

Oh the fun you could have with a grammar nerd at a gig when they tell you how your band name is grammatically incorrect! :)

that's true. How lame would Deaf Leopard be, as a name?

    Or Leonard Skinner?
