    Hey

Can you darken a Rosewood fretboard with some sort of oil or polish?

I don't really like a light brownish rosewood board, however I absolutely love the darker ones. I guess it's just luck what colour your fretboard is.

Would this be possible with minimal difficulty?

Thanks, any help will be appreciated. :)

Sometimes just lemon oil will darken it up.

They dry out and get lighter colored.

I use Fret-Doctor and it does noticeably darken the rosewood as well as condition it..........

Fret Dr. rocks, but I think I've seen black fretboard stain mentioned in other threads.

depends how dark ya want it! if you want it to look like ebony, which i dont think you do, use Fiebing's Oil Dye. its used to darken fretboards a lot by pros, but usually to make it look like ebony.
