We love all paw people, no worries.
This is the first kitteh to adopt me, Pepper. She now owns Ma Lumbergh, and keep each other company out at the cabin. Here she is camping out in my suitcase while I'm up in NorCal for combined business/visit:

Cat thread head boop...
Not pictures, but a story. Today at one point I was really being hit by the loss of Zeus the Moose (pooch) and I also started feeling bad and sad about Panther- our fluffy black kitty that died a few months ago- and then feeling really strongly that Panther was visiting me . I remembered him in my lap, kneading my chest , and lurking up on all the perches we have for them (cats). It really felt like he came back to help me with my grief , and it was also grief for him, but he was beyond the woes of this world, and all about wanting to bring comfort.
So I come back from my driving errands, and after a few minutes inside, Mrs. Monkey tells me she had been talking to Cougar (Panther's lifelong kitty-buddy) while I was gone and had told him she really hoped Panther was here to help him feel better.
