Chicken Noodle Soup and a single slice of toasted Oyatsupan bread. Not any kind of special Chicken Soup, just that stuff that comes in a box.

Oh, and a cup of coffee. Coffee made from beans I roasted the day before. Elixir of the gods...well, the morning gods.

    Civilized afternoon gods drink tea.

And every so often, but without any regularity, the evening gods enjoy a pleasant sipping whiskey...

just a wee bit mind you, because the gods elected to grant moi a palate that can appreciate a well crafted libation, but failed to provide a wallet sufficient to support regular indulgence...

I never eat breakfast. My fragile guts would probably hurl it back up. I'm more than likely a brunch type person.

I eat mine in the afternoon, after a pint or two. I hate eating on an empty stomach...

    I almost never have brakfast.

I either drink chocolate milk or drink some yogourt or both.

I save eating solid food till around midday.

I have a pretty nice espresso machine (double boiler) and grinder, so I make my wife and I coffee first thing. Some days plain shots, some days Americanos (basic hot water added to espresso for a nice cup of black coffee), some days some version of a steamed milk drink. Then I tend to either eat cottage cheese with a mix of berries or once or twice a week bacon and eggs (sometimes sausage instead of bacon), or the morning after we have salmon, I'll save a bit of fish and have a salmon and cream cheese and spinach omelet. I pretty much ALWAYS eat breakfast. I don't work anymore, so then I go find something to do to burn it off...

Coffee (very, very black). For the past 50+ yrs, I've been running late. Late to school, late to work, whatever. During the week, my breakfast is usually something I have to unwrap in the car. Protein bar (170 calories) these days. As a kid in school, it was a glass of "Instant Breakfast"...and a dive out the door to catch the bus. During my working life, breakfast has usually meant grabbing something from the most convenient Fast Food joint and eating it in the car on the way to work.

On the weekends, different story. Slow down, make a more formal breakfast. I like fried egg sandwiches. Three eggs, yolks broken after a minute or so. Flip, salt and pepper and lay sliced cheese on top to melt. Mayo (Hellman's) on the bread. Miz Diane is not a morning person, so if she indicates she'd like breakfast, it will be a grilled cheese sandwich. Occasionally scrambled eggs. If I get really fancy, I'll add small cubes of cream cheese to the scrambled eggs at the last second (these are called "marshmallow eggs" because as kids, they looked like they had mini-marshmallows in there).

    I never eat breakfast

A couple cups of espresso and I'm good until mid afternoon

And I never had a microwave cheese sandwich I'll take a good old grilled cheese made on a cast iron griddle

A peanut butter & honey sandwich for breakfast insures a pleasant day. If it's going to be a particularly challenging morning, drink a glass of chocolate milk with it.

I often have a bowl of cereal at home before I go to work because it's easy and fast to make/eat. I do like breakfast though, and would eat more breakfast if I had the time. On the weekends I sometimes like to cook eggs, hash browns, and sausage for breakfast with an iced coffee (I tend to like my coffee cold).

I never really understood not eating breakfast.. Dinner in the evening is my last real meal of the day, and by breakfast, I'm hungry after not eating for about 12 hours or so.

Breakfast food is eggs, bacon, toast, biscuits, or similar.

Breakfast is served anytime around the clock. You may think it was intended for morning time. We will allow you your traditions! ;)

I had two cups of coffee yesterday and as a result didn't t get to sleep until 3 am. Quietly taught myself a few CCR songs, and put a small fence for the dog (at 2 am; beautiful night 70°) up off the patio. Every morning, without fail: half a bagel and 2 cups of tea... Not a coffee drinker.

I almost never eat before noon. bleh..

Most days I eat something small about mid afternoon and then a real meal in the evening. After that I sometimes have something small late, but only if I'm feeling peckish.
