Does anyone fancy grabbing themselves a Squier Classic Vibe Tele, slightly tweaked by a bunch of people nobody has heard of, for a mere £1500?

My used sunburst Classic Vibe Tele cost me £200 a few years ago, so this one is only £1300 more expensive. o_O Apparently it's "a completely original concept from our team". Really?

Apparently it is "pound for pound, one of the most versatile and best value guitars in the price range". Hmmm, well it would be good to see the calculations that "proved" that!

You just can't make this s**t up, can you?

Wow. That sales pitch is one of the biggest piles of bovine excrement I have ever read.

I like how they swapped the neck for a cheaper Squier neck, and applied Fender "tribute decals" LOL.

    Give me a break.

Daf*q? What's with that red spot on the headstock?
I don't like the stock CV tint, so they got that right, but then they had to go and mess it up with that spot...

Not to mention the body. They wanted a third knob - there's control plates for that.
And then they put a toggle switch where I put my fingers 40% of the time? If I don't flick it by accident, I't cut my fingers on the thing!
And for that, they cut the body up and put some amoeba-shaped plastic plate on the back?

    Also, Strictly-speaking-not-fake-Fender-decal is still phony.

Overall, I wouldn't buy that guitar if the price tag hadn't changed! That way... poor sod who buys that when he could have a used AM Std for less. Or even a new AM Pro - he probably wouldn't care if it was a Std (I like) or a Pro (I don't like) because he only would give a damn about that if he had any idea about guitars and if he had, he would definitely not buy this poor Ex-CV!

You could buy two used American Standards for £1500.
