It's been 30 years but you look familiar. Are you from Rhode Island?
I think that looks like a little toilet.
Not remotely hahaha!!!.
Born in Netherlands. Lived in CA since I was 3.

Espresso Organico from Specialty Java. 5 pounds lasts us 5-6 weeks. In the morning it's a double shot in a mug, then topped up with soy milk and 2 ice cubes.
I feel bad for the poor guy.
For some reason, a strong cup of coffee always makes me want to do pinch harmonics. Sometimes even just grinding it gives me the urge, kind of like Pavlov's dogs.
He played a strat back when I was a drummer. He was an excellent guitarist
Had one. Pods are too hard to get now. Switched to a Tassimo and now those are becoming scarce. Seems like Keurig has won the market.
Interesting. I can get them delivered (next day) either direct to my home or to the corner shop over the road. They are also stocked in a few different supermarkets and you can buy starbucks pods if I run short. I am in the UK so the market must be different. I've never heard of Keurig!
The only kind of coffee I can't abide is weak..
Ahhhhh as I a,ways say " Coffee, chocolate and stress" the perfect diet.
I just got back from having one of my weekly java sessions with a retired buddy. Been drinking mine black for almost 4 decades and my experience tells me you can actually taste the black life giving juice when its not poluted with milk, cream, sugar, sugar substitute , frapped, latted or otherwise Altered. Mileage may vary....
My favorite part of the house...Coffee Corner. Grinder is from the early 1900's, works perfectly. My Sat/Sun morning workout. Just below it is a 1940's vacuum pot. A bit messy but does a nice job...and like having a chemistry lab experiment making coffee for you.
Coffee is from roaster down the street. Took them a year of 'starving for principles' to figure out that customers tastes rule. He would only roast and sell light to medium roasts. Now he has a very nice dark roast and admits that it sells better than anything else.
Good old French Press on left. Black space next to it is the side of the Keurig...
So, weekdays the Keurig gets all the work. Quick, easy, Café Bustelo or Donut Shop or whatever I see that looks interesting. Weekends, I take my time and use whatever process I feel like.
You got to have the right cup too... My favorite cup is my NO BULL cup I bought at Everything Is A Dollar on me and my wife’s first date over 30 years ago...but I have backups...
It’s just the wife and I and we like different brews so the pods are perfect for us.
3 cups of Waffle House coffee every morning ... then turn me loose !
In the Great White North, Tim Horton's ruled my world. Miss them dearly. Rather fond of my Sumatra now so I suppose I bin weened. Joy!
I flew into Vancouver a year ago. Step off the plane, go through customs, and then sauntered over to Tim Horton’s to fulfill that part of the entry requirements for travelers into Canada.
