Last Friday I ordered a set of pickups on Reverb. Coming from Iowa- STILL in transit.

They were 'stuck' apparently, in Sioux City S.D. for almost 2 days, THEN started traveling again.

LAST NIGHT I got 3 text messages on my phone, USPS tracking updates. About an hour apart, starting at 11:30 PM, EACH SAID the SAME thing,to the effect:

"The item has left Philadelphia Distribution Center" last one at several minutes before 2A.M. this morning.

I'm 30 miles north of that dist. facility. NO "Arrived at Sellersville Post Office" (town I live in) this morning, or today. I had to mail a package this morning so I asked at the desk, if my item might be "in the back?" To which he replied, "Yeah, maybe. There's nothing between Philly and here"

Nothing but roadway. I know he meant no other "points" or transfers.

Tracking is NOT listing a new delivery date. The original delivery date was Tuesday (last- 12/4).

Should I be worried- or should I expect to see my pickups tomorrow? Can't imagine the three texts the same last night- nothing today at all?

Thanks for any info, advice or quick witted answers!

    Worried (as usual) in Pa.

As a long time UPS guy (17 years!), I can tell you that electronic tracking is both the best thing and the worst thing to happen to package delivery.
Tracking makes the job of the delivery service exponentially more difficult, but it gives most customers a sense of when they can expect a package.
The caveat is that the tracking systems are far from perfected, so some customers end up very frustrated with the delivery process... especially this time of year when delivery volumes grow exponentially.
I hope your package arrives safely and quickly.

This was taken (I think) right after he got sick and had a transfusion. His legs were shaved from his paws to almost his stomach. He wasn't a happy kitty at the time. I said I'd never spend money on a cat to get it well, but I was made a liar again.

Well, they didn't work out for that someone!

THEY ARRIVED TODAY! WHOOOO friggin' HOOOOO!

Look like they are in great shape- 6 package came in today- two for my wife for Christmas (shhhh!); the pickups / harness; the pickup covers (no offense, I don't like the white ones with the Hendrix "signature), knob / switch tip and trem tip, new guard and a small gift for renewing my gun club membership!

SO- the guard is mint green -AllParts does a great job on...parts,,,and I was VERY impressed with the mint green color. NOT overdone- looks like a white 'guard that might have faded into mint green, although evenly colored and not 'uneven' like an actual relic guard would be. Pickup covers and knobs / switch tip are "cream"- looks good together, IMO.

THANKS all for the laughs and the support! Review to follow in a couple weeks or less, under separate post!
