Sydney B. Piddlesworth, the early days.
As he has grown my wife has learned to exploit him...
And even worse take him to costume parties...
Poor little man...
Oh I’m so in love this makes me want to get a puppy my poor golden had a bad day yesterday and it scared me. He’s almost 11 he’s been very healthy but he woke up panting so fast I couldn’t hardly count how many times a minute and he couldn’t hardly stand up and he definitely couldn’t walk something with his front legs and that’s brand new. He had a hard time getting down the stairs to go outside. He just laid there for a long time. At one point I was chopping up vegetables and he finally got up and came in the kitchen to see if he could beg something. I was so happy he did a little better each hour and I had company and he really enjoyed being petted a lot of extra times. This morning he almost back to normal and I don’t know what happened.
Probably old age catching up. My Golden started having problems with the stairs, going to the relieve himself outside, and eventually seizures. Try not to worry too much but do run it by the Vet to see what he/she thinks.
What age did that start happening ? I tried to avoid the emergency room visit on the holiday weekend so I think I’ll take him Wednesday
Unfortunately around the age of your dog. Big dogs have a shorter life span and Goldens in particular are prone to seizures and cancer. It might not be anything more serious than your pup getting older but it does need to be watched and run by a Vet for precautionary measures.
Meet Ron. He's an 8 week old Labrador/Golden Retriever cross Guide Dog puppy that we'll look after for a year until, we hope, he'll qualify to go off to train as a fully fledged Guide Dog. We've had him 4 days and yes, it's going to be hard work to let him go when the time comes.
One year anniversary of Zeus The Moose departing Earthly life for destinations unknown.
Best little friend a Dogboy could ever hope to have . He took a big chunk of my heart with him .
This is dog language for 'throw me a stick'.

Hi , buddy
Is Duffy the Golden going to be alright ?
They always do.
If you have a good Strat and a good dog, what more do you need?
Okay, a decent partner would be nice, but not essential...
