I couldn't believe a mod didn't shut this down from the opening statement. I was appalled to read it and I think many others were as well.

I'm not sure what relevance colour of your skin has to do with this subject at all.

Any organization that recognizes this guy for musical accomplishment is a joke.

Other than the fact that rap isn't music the Grammy's are usually OK to watch.

And before any of you start on me about rap being music

So if spoken word is going to be a category at the Grammy's then the single best ever spoken word album is

Some rap is music, but not all by any means.

Only reason I knew him was he was on Ghost Adventures once.
I remember thinking....Who would name their kid Post?....A breakfast cereal lover?....A Utah Jazz fan that missed Karl?

GVF won a couple of grammies. Time to assemble a Led Zep cover band. Does anyone know a singer who can sound like a scalded cat ?

I stopped watching the Grammys in 1989 after Jethro Tull won for Best Heavy Metal Band.
Switched it on for 5 minutes last night, and they were talking to the Backstreet Boys. Turned the channel. Sorry, guess I'm the grumpy old man the OP wants us not to be.

I don't know why people get upset at the Grammy choices. "Ugh, they always go for this band because of the hot singer while [local indie rock band] goes unnoticed".

    Yeah, this isn't anything new.
