Calling all Euroguestockers - how about another in the UK before Leiden next year?

I'm tagging the UK & Europe people to see how much interest there is - please tag others that you know or may be interested. This doesn't have to be a full blown version, think of it as a tester for @simoncroft 's ear defenders!

The idea is a cheap rehearsal studio, and twang a few songs together for our own amusement. No previous experience necessary. The London studio might be possible, but I'm also more than happy to try somewhere in another part of the country.

I'm going to propose Saturday 20th October as the date.

Please reply if you think you can make it, and what you can play (guitar/bass/drums/keyboards/kazoo/etc.)

If it's in London the I'm definitely up for this. Not 100% certain what I'm doing on that day, but pencil me in :) I play the guitar and not much else.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to make it if it's anywhere else :( I will try and actually learn some of the tunes this time!

So, what exactly happens at one of these ? Do you all dress up in tie-die and make a giant bowl of
Kool-Aid laced with laxatives and play Dead songs? Do you make an effigy of The Great Bohemian ,
set it on fire and run naked through the streets? Does one of you assume the role and countenance
of The Bob and hold court ? Just curious ;):sneaky::whistling:

We will just be back from vacation (september ↔ october :thumb:). Can't do both, I'm afraid.

There is video evidence! Take a look at the Euroguestock III and IV threads...

    Count me in. :thumb:

It might be an idea to see who would like to attend before you set the venue. Once you go outside London, you extend the journey time for anyone coming from outside the UK, and the further north you go, the bigger my train bill gets! It's a sad indictment of the rail system over here that Paris is easier for me than Manchester.

A moving target is harder to hit, my friend. Duck and swerve.

I'm full up for Oct. Earliest for me is Nov 10, 17, or 24th.

I'm not sure what "player grade" means! But all are welcome, of all abilities. As I have often said, there are always people who can play better than you, and there are always people who can't.

Just bring your guitar and have a good time - nobody will judge, it's a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Ah that's a shame - it would be great to see you again. November 10th is first alternative then - let's see how the thread goes for the next few days.

Well said! Of course, of course. We can't plan these around one guy.

That's great. :thumb: Would it help if we negotiated with the Hungarian Mafia as a group, maybe securing a deal that they'd only kill you afterwards?
