Just caught up with all the vids whilst working / playing on a guitar and my bass, absolutely awesome people! very well done indeed. i particularly love the diverse in the songs chosen and above all the connection and therefore fun you all made and had, you can't fake that.
PS manson and simon, you both inspired me to pick up my bass today. thanks
Here's another bass player to inspire you, although you can't hear her too well on this track, sadly. Nanda is the lady laying down the low end, on Roadhouse Blues.
Great video, thanks Simon!!
It's great because of the people in it.
Here's Jumpin' Jack Flash. Video from Debbie, audio from John and stills from Manuel.
Love it, sounds and looks ...all with the T's ...nice...nice...nice... great!
@simoncroft I Like how you jumped in on keys.
I think you could start a one man band, the only thing I haven't seen you do so far, is drum.
Can you also drum?
Excellent! Way to belt it out, Simon!!!
Ha ha! Drumming isn't one of my skills, I'm afraid.
There are so many excellent performances from Euroguestock II. Every time I post a new one, I'm feeling bad about all the others I haven't got round to yet.
Today's post in Burning Love, which I believe can be relieved to some extent by ginger beer...
I intended to include some of the excellent still shots Manuel (@2-Finger ) took, but I forgot. I especially like this one of Joyce and Maurice (@Malurkey ).
2 times....the bridge is played.....2 TIMES felis!!!! ....and don't hit that selector switch!!!!
That was great!!!! Please don't feel bad, Simon!
@felis I didn't notice anything amiss - don't be hard on yourself!
I loved watching Nanda tear it up on the bass, too!
Great job everyone! Thanks for entertaining us
Check out the video at 1.34, I 'apologized' at 1.46.
I won't, Nanda fulfills that part towards me!
@Mansonienne Nanda asked me to tell you; she feels honored, and to say thanks.
I noticed that 'apology' gesture, but I had no idea why because everything sounded fine to me. In fact, I thought the whole take was very good. Please tell Nanda I think she's a very strong bass player and I'm impressed at the complexity of the parts she takes on. Some of those parts are difficult!
Will do (she's out of the house right now), but I can already tell you (in her name) that she will be very pleased and honored for all these kind words.
I realize that I'm quite a lucky guy to have such a bass player living with me, almost always at my disposal!
And let's not forget bro and sis, they're like nightingales, I still clearly remember (also after dinner that evening) that they sounded like heaven together.
We really have to get them to join 'kinky monarchy'
Indeed- we were privileged to have such excellent singers. You should get them in your band
