Thanks so much for organizing!
Yes - definitely up for that!
Some great songs on the list.
Looking into the 'love shack' rhythm part, fingers blocked up at first attempts , hard to get it right, fast, for me .
So I'm holding back on putting my name on other/more songs, for now, because life's a bit hectic at the moment.
I will surely be working on some 'other' parts when things should calm down a bit!
Hope things settle! I took my name off Sympathy...already taking on quite a few new ones and want to be realistic...
I will definitely need backing vocal help on the chorus of So Lonely (it’s easy, just two words!! ). Hoping @CaroCrousti , Joyce and @Malurkey will consider it.
No probs, I do have the 'Sympathy....rhythm part already somewhat in my fingers'.
I’m happy to just sing “hoo hoo” for 5 minutes!
Great, 'Sympathy..' seems to be near to my 'vocal key' (still not convinced I actually have a 'vocal key' though).
Yes you do. And your Highway To Hell will go down in history as one of Euroguestock’s iconic moments!!!
I like to believe that's no so much because of my 'singing'!
I like the lead part for Sympathy because it only happens at the end!
I'm going to try and learn the proper lead guitar parts for Lyin' Eyes - it's good to have a target. But I'm not so keen on So Lonely - I don't really like the song so it's hard to get motivated on that. Anyone else fancy the lead?
How about Back in Black then?
BTW did I tell you I met Andy Summers once? - had tea with him at his house in 1983 with his missus. I was a motorcycle courier and I was collecting some tapes for his publisher.
Told his wife I loved his guitar playing (we had the same guitar at the time, an Aria PE1000) but thought Sting was a bit of an arse. She laughed...
We can see whether Marc or @Mipstoo want it.

Marc’s happy to work on So Lonely.
Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. I like the bass on So Lonely, though.
I love the licks Andy does in-between the rhythm part.
After years of wanting to play these combined rhythm/licks,
I think I finally start to get somewhere.
We'll see in March!
My fingers just don't seem to want to do the right picking for Jolene. I can get there at about half speed, but then it all goes downhill from there!
