I really haven't. The closest I came was running into Arnold Schwarzenegger at the western store in The Mall of America. He was doing some kind of promotional thing that day but I had no idea.

When I was working a lot in post-production, I talked to a few in passing in the break rooms or edit suites, no fan talk.

I did play Space Invaders with Mat Guitar Murphy at the wonderful and now gone Night Flight Cafe in Savannah during a break between his sets, that was cool. I talked with EVH, small talk at a shooting of One Day At A Time, took me a while to figure out who he was out of context.

Partied with a couple I won't pass on here.

I once met Paul Newman. He came into a shop I was working in, asked to see a pair of earrings, and then said “I'll take them.”

I didn’t recognize him, he handed me his credit card, I looked at it, and thought “Wow, this guy has the same name as Paul Newman.” Then I took another look, and realized it was really him.

I should clarify, Arnold's about as big as a celebrity can get but I didn't talk to him. They had half the mall security in that tiny store. I'm a big fan and respect his privacy.

Well for me that person is Steve Morse. My whole childhood I dreamed of meeting him someday.
    That finally happened in 2014.
Most memorable date for me, I will never forget it!

I got to meet Brad Gillis and talk guitars with him. Nice guy..my son's uncle is the drummer/ singer of Night Ranger, and my son gets me free tickets to go see them when they are playing near us. I hope they will tour this summer.

You'd be surprised about meeting someone out of context, plus I wasn't really a real super fan. I didn't realize who it was till someone walked up and said 'you should have brought your ax'.

It had to have been when One Day At A Time was on the air, as I was at the studio that day.

Tried to get Lou Pinella's autograph when I saw him on the way to a pressbox...he refused.

Ran into Phil Lesh in a hotel elevator (yes, we were going to the same show that night).

Oh also I got autographs from Lawrence Welk, Captain Kangaroo (on a ping pong ball) and Jame Doohan, but gave all that stuff away even the Star Trek prop phaser.

Somewhere it there. It was a while ago, another lifetime. I remember his fancy turbocharged Corvette out front.

    Life is weird.

Turbo vette, eh? I'm a bit of a car nerd too. That would put it more around 1987. First year of the Callaway twin turbo Vette. We're talking a car that cost 15k over a Standard vette in 1987!

I met Eddie Rabbit (nice guy), Jim Stafford and Mickey Gilley. After their concerts. All seemed to be down to earth people. Not sure if these count here since they were country singers.
