I thought would start a EVH 5150 owners club and open it up to those that own ANY of the 5150's (Peavey, Fender...)...here is my rig to start it off. I just got the 4x12 cab yesterday and I have had the 5150iii 1x12 Combo for almost a year now. I absolutely LOVE this amp! I can NOT find a bad tone in it! I am waiting for a speaker cable that was overnighted to me since I only have instrument cables. I did a QUICK test with an instrument cable just to hear the cab...All I can say is WOW!!! Now I know why guys want half/full stacks! Such a full tone! Let's see your 5150's!!!

And before I got the 4x12 here is what it looked like:

Are 6505+ owners allowed to participate in this thread or is it 5150 owners only?

Hey, I like yours too. My next head is either going to be a EVH 5150 or a DSL 100 (or 50). I can't decide yet but I just feel the need for another head, for no particular reason.

That sounds like a pretty good reason to me!
When I was amp shopping, I had the 50w 5150iii head on my short list but after hearing how loud those amps are or need to be in order to hit that sweet spot, I had to settle a little since I'm just a at-home player. Even the 15 watters are insanely loud though...I can't even comprehend what the 100watters are like

Well, our drummer is loud as heck and I keep up with him with the volume at 2. Bass player is at 1.5. Turned up to 3, I need earplugs. :D
