Just saw these last week at my local GC. A new color for the 50s and 60s models. (I'm talking about the two flanking the Gold Sparkle one in the middle).
The pic doesn't do them justice. It may look like it in the pic but the 50s is not a Surf Green. Not sure how to explain it.
I have a 2006 50s in Surf Green and the new one is kind of lighter and maybe more pastel. I also noticed the neck tint on the new 50's was a lighter shade than the on on mine. I really liked the new body colors though.

I searched the web and the Fender website but can't find any other info on them. The manager said they just showed up and showed them to me.

I played the 60s version today on a Vox AC-15 and it sounded nice.

    Has anyone else seen these?

Do you know if your Goldflake is a GC exclusive?

They are Guitar center exclusives . Guitar Center posted about them at NAMM. They are sixties car colors that weren't originally used on fenders but could have been since fender used auto paint for the custom colors back then

Thanks Yogi! I must have missed that in the 3,075 emails I've received from everyone regarding the new products that were introduced at Winter NAMM.... :D

Now I know the name of the colors!

That green one should have been called Celery, but not a good name for a car color.

I played the cream yellow 60s model.....through a peavey classic 30 two days ago on wensday....

Got a couple compliments from some random guitar player dudes as well at the GC : )

It was nothing short of TI-TTSs.

THESE NAIL THE CLASSIC VINTAGE 60S TONE AND FEEL.

I like my classic series 60s at home better but damn the one I played had character and would be my next purchase if I had money.

Im a vintage sort of dude so I would get these over an AM standard anyday.

PURE TI-ITTs it sounded like I tell yah.

Fairly chunkier than normal C neck as well much like my 06 classic series 60s at home. A big plus.

Publishing a nice 50ties car colour name is the least they can do. It's all about mojo, right? :)
    Ford "spring celery"? no thanks.

I saw these, too. The Canary Diamond is a great color. The Apple looks more like Key Lime Pie. I really liked the way they played.

Some photos I took the other day. Captivating color, none of the employees could tell me a thing about it. They didn't even know what model it was.

Nice, did you get to play it?

I've got my nice 50's Classic strat set up the way I like it now, so a 60's model has been catching my eye lately.

I really liked the way it played and sounded.

Really looking forward to the next batch of colors.

Yes, the video said the Special Edition 50s and 60s will change to a new unique color each quarter.
