Just noticed how woupely my beautiful, (or so I thought), Fender tweed case is getting. I more and more suspect it is just fabric material wrapped around foam, with maybe no stiff plywood type material in-between, or if there is, it can't be much. I am careful with my cases, loading in and out of vehicles, where I put them so they don't get walked on, etc. Seems it is not even structurally sound enough to be left with a stack of other cases on top of it without showing signs of squishing. SO I guess it's like the Northern Pike's song, She ain't pretty, she just looks that way - at least for awhile.
