Just saw Chris Shiflet of the Foo Fighters play a Fender tele deluxe. The new Troublemaker is basically the same except for the mahogany body with maple cap.

A mahogany body with maple cap is going to be heavier ...perhaps by quite a bit. And....the paint scheme does not seem to take any advantage of the maple.

Strat shape body with tele pickups and bridge? Tele shape body with three-pickup strat style pups and trem? If I didn’t know better I’d suspect these are photoshopped fakes.

I'm glad that I'm not born in that parallel universe... Otherwise Fender would've had quite some trouble selling me anything. :D

Yep spoke my mind about these yesterday and I’m not digging them at all.

Looks as if someone blindfolded assembled these lol and especially that Jaguar Strat combo red one.

Well I guess if don't intend to play it, it'll give you sth to look at.
Ohh! I'm getting it erm...maybe. So those are the toys in the "parallel universe" and on the other side are the original, professionals and Elites! For the real players.

Are they taking their inspiration from late 1960s/early 1970s Japanese "copies"? :D
