May the best team win
I also thought that they were genuinely excited. They're in the World Cup and winning. They worked and sacrificed for it. As long as there is no mercy rule, not scoring when you can, has a whiff of game fixing to me.
Apology accepted, obfuscation notwithstanding. Yours, Bud
For those of you who don't know what your talking about.
World Cup Rules
(Group Stage) Three points for a win, one for a draw, none for a loss.
Top two teams from each group advance. Bottom two are eliminated.
Tiebreakers in order of priority: points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head.
(Knockout stages) Extra time played if drawn after 90 minutes.
Penalty shootout if still deadlocked after extra time.
Fair enough. As advertised, I haven't watched yet, but will check in and root for the pretty Americans a bit later
I’m sorry but I have posted another (according to my wife) inappropriate Google translation which you might consider removing!
Perhaps I should not post comments in the future!
No comment on the PK given to France. You can only go with the refs decision.
Womens world cup in football has the same appeal as beauty pageants for men....you know its there...you know you should care and all but realistically....lets be real......
I don't think so.
Some things are just never meant to be....womens tennis? absolutely..womens football....just nope...womens volleyball...yes..womens basketball...nah....
Well it's really worse than that. All my comments were based on listening to the game on radio, as I was working and did not *see* the game.
Perhaps the celebrations were over the edge--I'll have to review on You Tube.
Did you not read the first post? I asked that there be no derogatory remarks about women’s football or women’s sports. Now go away.
Whatever, dude. Go back to your cave.
But.... Not a penalty in my book...
PK: Penalty Kick
"A penalty kick is an unobstructed shot on goal taken 12 yards from the center of the goal with only the goalie present to stop the shooter."
Approximately 4 times out of 5 a penalty kick is converted into a goal.
That was the softest PK given in a LONG time. Home country favor there, I hope VAR doesnt spiral down into someone breathed on someone else, penalty.
Not be a soccer fan
