In my quest to buy every Squier ever made, I visited a local Pawn Shop on my lunch break today. Among other interesting things I spied a flame top Squier. It was made in India, had Duncan Designed pups and what looked like a real (not photo) maple flame top. Like his one:

They wanted too much for it but I thought I'd ask if it's any different than my VM 70's, if there's anything special about these and what y'all thought it might be worth?

    Thanks

There are different flame top versions....

The guitar in that reverb link is a first run Made in India Vintage Modified Strat, made 2007-2011.....

It's worth the $190 asking price....

Most of the Standards with Flame Tops are going for about $125-175 used....they are $300 new....
