Just trying now...
A good time for this, Senor Bit, my son has a raging case of jazz and no time to do tunes with his father... Gracias.
Nice find, downloading now to give it a try myself. Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you Mr Bit
If you amateurs were using Pro Tools, you'd have a great drum sim built in.
HEY, Im kidding! Those stones hurt, stop it!
Nice thing about being an amateur is people have low expectations, which I am fully capable of fulfilling.
Have they cured the bug that was driving you nuts yet?
That and being extremely cheap.
Turned out to be Apples fault. I rolled back to Sierra 10.12.6 and all has been well.
Thank you, I needed an out loud laugh today.
Wait just a doggone minute... @TheDuck - Didn't you get your version of protools free with your eleven rack?
Free? Well .....
I got the package with the perpetual PT license (no annual sub and a year of updates) and the 11R for $599. PT12 on its own was $599, so I guess what I bought was PT12 and got the 11R for free.
I's day none of it was free. Not even the Dimed Rectum.
You're obsession with rectally stored currency is starting to frighten me.
The samples in this freebie are pretty great but my goodness, why do all the "grooves" sound like a highly caffeinated squirrel played on them? None of them are at all useful due to them being so hyperactive. I have a huge bias against programed drums and my bias ends up being reinforced every time I try to use one of these things. Sigh. Great sounding, though.
I never use the "grooves", I haven't even tried them, I program my own drum tracks, or use midi loops if I'm feeling lazy.
Grooves are just midi loops by another name. I have used loops that sounded pretty good in the past and I assume on this trial version they were trying to include Grooves that both show off the drum sounds, and are completely unusable in an actual song. At the same time, it's not that uncommon for loops to be overly busy.
Can't get the darned thing to appear anywhere. Does the install routine, says ready to go, then: nothing. No icon on desktop, no new item in my program list. Bah.
It's a VSTi it will show up as a virtual instrument in your DAW.
In your DAW it will appear as an instrument rather than an effect.
