My one and only amp is a Fuchs ODS 50 head that I use with a Fuchs single 12" cab. Anybody else 'round these parts know the sonic goodness that is Fuchs?

It's pronounced FYooks. Although Andy Fuchs has made plenty o' jokes in his promo material. There's a sticker on one of my cases that says, "Go Fuchs Yourself."

My buddy has an ODS 30 I sue quite often. Incredible amps. He also has a Two rock Sapphire 100 which are awesome Dumble style amps.

Folks who played one wouldn't joke about the name :D

They sit proudly all over Al Dimeola's stage. I generaly sit in the first couple of rows and it sounds great.

Is it presumptuous to ask if you’re going for an SRV sorta tone with your Blackjack? :)

I’m a devotee of that Larry Carlton/Robben Ford singing overdrive, which is what I’m reaching for with the ODS.

Carlton singing overdrive sounded the best to my ears when he played through this:

Note tape residue from Mic placement layout.

I love the story about LC flying to NYC to play on a Fagen album. He took his guitar and was going to rent an amp. Fagen says "Where's your amp?" LC says he'll rent one.
No you won't. Get the Deluxe here. We'll postpone until it arrives.

They bought a seat for it (!) and had someone bring it. :)

Yeah I use it as a clean platform for my various overdrive pedals. I don’t quite have the skill to do robben ford style stuff yet! Here is me doing a little demo of the amp...

That’s very soulful playing, Little Wing, and the amp sounds great.

I don’t have the skills to play like Robben, either, but I reach for it.

    I don't have a Fuchs but Andy rebuilt my 1981 Roland Bolt-60.
His shop is in the next town over.

I'll post a pic later from my iPad.
