Kids in a candy store ..... I'll never grow up. ..Yay!!!
So it arrived in Indy last night but still shows "in transit" and not "out for delivery". Gonna be a long day.
Showed up with a number of dings not mentioned when I had the salesperson check it over the phone for me. Luckily the sales manager was cool and refunded $45.
Rangoon Red sure looks like Fiesta Red to me, but I like it.
Rangoon red is darker and was only used on that FSR series.
I expected it to look like this first one which is from the same run. Perhaps being an outdoor shot makes the difference. It looks much more like the new Am Sp Fiesta Red at bottom. I'm actually happy it showed up with a few dings so now I don't have to be careful with it.
Man that sounds like a steal if i've ever heard of one lol. I too love GC used for their return policy and they ship things very well packaged. I also am able to call them at the store and talk to someone and they will grab the guitar and talk me through it.
Just picked up another one with obviously swapped electronics. We'll see when it gets here what they are. GC again called it Fiesta Red but I ran the SN by Fender to make sure it's Rangoon Red. Needs a new pickguard too obviously.
You’ll finish up fat and with terrible GAS!
Surprisingly, I'm kind of diggin the neon. On an Olympic or black, I might keep 'em.
I don’t really care for the black or the neon but I’ll wait to see what they are. I’m hoping it’s not one of those loaded guards you can get on eBay for $29. Can’t see anyone doing that to an $800 guitar but you never know.
guess I just got lucky with this Squier P/J bass from GC online - the price was more than right for “Crafted in Indonesia” and I loved the color - “Torino Red.” She sounds great.
This must be your red phase.
Indeed it is. I’ve really been wanting red guitars lately.
Why anyone would ruin a nice guitar like that with those additions is beyond me.
BTW The Rangoon red models were part of a FSR Classic series that retailed over here for £429.
