I have read a lot about this that or the other compressor on the mix buss as mix glue and I do like the sound of some of them used that way but for me the GLUE in capital letters is a limiter...

I suppose this points to both insufficient compression at other stages and that I like to smash things. :D

Anyone use limiters this way? Will I be punished eternally?

I usually only apply a limiter in the final master mix or occasionally in the first couple stereo mix downs if they is some really nice dynamic part I want to keep without going red on the meter. I think if you like the way it sounds, do it.

I reiterate my deep and abiding love for this Limiter. No idea what it would sound like on your stuff, but sounds great on mine.
