Been looking for a Fender Strat Plus Ultra for a while and fell into one over the weekend.

1993 Blue Burst. 8.5 condition mostly attributable to buckle rash.

Seems all original. Plays and sounds great.

    Fantastic guitars!
I wish I would have bought a couple more of these when they can out, but I love the one I have.

I really want an Ultra. Specifically one with an LSR nut. I hardly ever see those for sale. Congratulations! That blue is beautiful!

There is a $25 kit from Fender that changes the old Wilkinson nut into a LSR in about 5 minutes.

I have a Strat Plus Deluxe with a Wilkinson 2.0 and another Strat Plus with the LSR. Between the two I prefer the LSR. The Ultra’s are rare, even more so with the LSR. I wouldn’t pass up an Ultra at a good price if it had a Wilkinson though.

Yeah, I did this with one of my Strat Plus, but I have a maple fretboard and the black spacer piece looked awful to me. It wouldn’t be as noticeable on rosewood or ebony though.

On my bucket list. I’m kinda set on getting another Strat either this month or January. If I can find one for reasonable money, I’ll get one of these. In my mind they’re sort of the original Super Strat.

Really, really nice. My Plus has the exact same rash on the back.

Nice; I always loved these in the blueburst. One of my regrets was not buying one very similar to yours in 1992; I got slightly "upsold" to a PRS CE maple top. Took me until 1998 to come back to Fenders.
