OK, so I have an account via Google to post stuff to the cloud.

Can or would someone walk me through the process please? Or point me to a "For Dummies" tutorial? I have two potential sources for recording; Reaper and a simple DAW set up on my laptop or also just got a Tascam DR-05 where I can record Wav or MP3 format.

Although not entirely stupid, I'm not up on a lot of the technical jargon and really would like to participate in the "Jams" and sharing original stuff with you all.

How do I get from recorded file to uploaded file to get it "out there"?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey Brian . I'm using Audacity as my progarm ,or daw.

Once I have a track down...

At least with audacity there is a "file" drop down menu top left. Here I find "export" as "mp3" or a few other choices of file types. This saves it's to my Audacity folder. From here I can send it to soundcloud. Or perhaps Google cloud .

I'm sure the Reaper users will chime in soon .

Log into Gooooogle and drag your file into My Google Drive?

To save the finished tune in Reaper you go to the File menu and select Render.

    THANKS GUYS!

@Groovey , @Thrup'ny Bit amazing what I found when I started looking...AFTER your prompting! Thanks so much!

@mjark : I can do that! So IF I had an existing mp3 or WAV file on my computer I cold upload it directly as I would a picture ?!?

    This I gotta try!

I was VERY pleased when our board went to that vice the 3rd parry hosting relative to pictures. You all probably know this but S-T is one of the FEW that actually rpovide this reative to pic uploading.

We are so fortunate in so many ways here...

Thanks guys! Busy day and I'm just now getting to this but I'll be working toward getting something up very soon!

As long as where you're putting it can take an audio file. For example we can't upload one here but can embed from Sound Cloud and You Tube.
