I have a Yamaha AEX500, a thin-body acoustic-electric. What strings are best for a guitar with both a mini-humbucker and a piezo? If I have to choose one pickup to work better, I'm more interested in the piezo working well.

The previous owner sold it with a new set of strings -- including an unwound G. I really like the unwound G.

This isn't my guitar, but mine is the same model:

That's going to be straight opinion so I'd say you should simply try a few sets to see what makes you grin. Personally, I'd probably start with some Dean Markley 10s. Nice guitar by the way.

If it is shorter than 25 1/2 inch scale, I would start with 11’s. Curt Mangan 11-48 bend really easily. They feel slinky. I haven’t tried them with a piezo though.

    I've a single+piezo

These work well with the piezo
