    I'm in the club!

I've been thinking about getting an inexpensive 335 style guitar for a while. I was actually thinking about trying one of the GFS kits. But a couple of days ago, I was strolling through one of my local guitar shops and noticed this old 1970's Ventura (made in Japan). Somewhere in its history someone switched it from right-handed to left-handed, so in addition to the F-holes, there are some extras...

It took a fair bit of work, but I switched the electronics and nut back to right-handed, replaced the sub-par pickups with some I had lying around, and gave it a proper setup, and now it's a decent guitar with a nice sound.

    Here's a sound clip:

Here's my '91 Howard Roberts Fusion (just posted in the Gibson Owners Club thread):

I didn't care for the 490R/490T pickups so I've been using P-Rails with Triple-Shots for going on two years. The wiring was replaced with a harness I built out of the RS Guitarworks Modern Upgrade kit. I also replaced the fingers tailpiece with a trapeze.

I'd say these are fantastically underrated guitars - extremely versatile for a number of different styles of music.

I've been in and out of this club for a while.
This is what currently allows me to be an inductee of the hollowbody club, but I am SO gassing for an ES 330.

That's a PRS HollowBody II but without the piezo pickup. It does have a 10 top and back.
