It took me 21 years of playing guitar to finally discover these beauties. I had some store credit and picked up a sherry...

I was blown away with how good they play and sound for the price. I wish I had gotten into these earlier, i'd have a Gibson 335 by now for sure. But the sherry will do nicely for now.

I have an old 1990 ES-347, regarded as an upscale ES-335. It has a coil-tap and Series 7 (aka Dirty Fingers w/ gold covers). These pickups have the highest output Gibson made with ceramic magnets; the Alnico version is called 500T, with the same output.

Despite its age, the neck plays like butter. The pickups are dense but can be modulated with the coil-tap. Grover style tuners and straplocks, a TP-6 bridge complete this maple-bodied guitar. It is much like a BBKing/Lucille, WITH F-holes.

Here is my Hagström Deuce F. This thing is a tone monster with sustain forever, I love it.

My Gretsch 5120. She's been a bit of a case queen lately, but I have big plans for her including TVJ pups and a Powerbridge. I've already done the nut and put on locking tuners.

2008 Epiphone Emperor II (Joe Pass Signature). It sounds really nice but I wish I had one that didn't have the laminated back and sides. Anyway I really do like it, after a fret level and crown it just plays so well.

My epiphone riviera P-93 is my love! Had it for a little more than a year, I have trouble putting it down sometimes still!

I'm glad I searched around, I was going to start just such a club. Here are mine, A Washburn, an Aria, a Lyle and a Epiphone.

Don't let it bother you, it's a nice axe, and Joe Pass spent most of his career playing an ES-175 with laminated back, sides AND top.

I like that Aria, with the trapeze tailpiece like 70's 335's.
