I’m sure this has been posted here before but I just came across it as a Facebook time-hop so I thought I’d share :)

Edit: I wish it was void of sexist sentiment but you get the idea :-/

When I was younger, in my twenties , my dad said how many guitars do you need, you haven’t made a dime off them, I replied how many golf clubs do you need, you’ve never made a dime off them. That subject was never brought up again! Miss you pops !

Well that flow chart sucks. According to that, I have too many guitars. And damn it, I only have 5.

2012 AMS Strat. Man the action on that is insane.
1999 AMS Telecaster. New at the turn of the century
2017 Modern Player Thinline deluxe. Damn those chinese are clever (sold a PRS to get this one)
???? Bryan May Red Special. Heading for modifications.
    1980 ish Maton accoustic.

Still searching for that mahogony/humbucker beast. (The thinline has P90's and I love those)

I had to take the married side of the flow chart so......what can ya say. I been dropping occasional hints that I am looking to build something so when the time is right, "she who must be obeyed", wont get quite the same shock. I think I am okay while I am selling one to buy another and not losing too much on the deal.

Damn this thing has a strangle hold on me. I am booking into Guitars Anonymous 1st thing Monday. They say the 1st step is admitting that you have a problem...."Hello, my name is Roger Tunnicliffe and I am a guitar-a-holic", phew, said it !!:(

I currently have one functionally speaking (I gave a nice MIM to my daughter).

I think I need two. The one I have is an EJ Strat with Bare Knuckle Apaches in it right now. I like that 50s tone. I think I need a 60s Strat, maybe a Thin Skin with a set of BKP 62 veneer board pickups, or maybe Irish Tours. Basically a 60s guitar with 60s pickups.

The next one will probably be one of:
    1. AVRI, not sure which year.
    2. Fender CS postmodern JRN.

That's funny. Depending on the day that flow chart says I could have too many or not enough. My wife just laughs and makes fun of me (which she admits to) every time I bring a "new" axe home. Since I won't admit to her that I have s problem she says I'm GUITARDED!

Bought my first American pro earlier this year, rosewood neck. I'd like to have a maple neck strat someday, so my answer is two...for now!

I have two but I also need a CAR one (with maple neck). Ah and I don't have a Strat with a RW fretboard and I would also like...

    OK I need a bunch... :(

This formula has served me well over the years.

In all honesty maybe two. My CS 64 reissue is probably my favorite guitar and I'd like one with a humbucker in it.
