Weekend diy project Although I own a Marshall se100 i somehow prefer the sound of a mic in front of the cabinet. And I am going to experiment with 2 and different placements. Recording however was a bit of a mixed bag. Sounds great but you can hear the wahwah and very faint the monitors in the background. Now with the box. A lot of the high end is gone (good for my ears) and I am able to mix the tone I want over the monitors without hearing the cab too loud. I guess it takes away 8-10db. Cab is a 1978 1960 marshall filled with greenbacks (with the black caps) love the sound. Any tips are welcome.
