Just saying 24hrs of PHL->Seattle->PHL->Seattle-PHL travel is gonna be rough over the next week.

But at least I get to be back home for the weekend with the family. Be jealous of the red eye flights I’ve got coming my way.

I feel your pain. I travel for work also.

    Interrupts guitar playing!!

To kill some time in the evenings, every once in a while I’ll got to a GC in the city I’m in and jam. I make em pull down something from the top shelf lol

I’ll be hitting up emerald city guitars this afternoon. And then the Crab Pot with an old friend from my army days.

    You're in for a treat!

Approach into Seattle gives a wonderful view of the Cascades to the east and the Olympics to the west. If landing from the north you'll pass right over Seattle...a view I never grew tired of.

I envy you. Wish I was going home.

No more of that for this old boy. I hit my first million miles on American from 1985 to 2001. All in I did about 3 million miles to my retirement April 2018. I once flew to Tokyo from Boston for a 2 hour meeting and a dinner, then home the next day. I booked a $35Million order as a result so it was worth it. Now I'd rather drive for 3 days to Boston up through the Smokey Mountains route instead of than driving an hour to the airport and 3 hours in the air. I'm never stepping on an airplane again unless it involves going over water.

I used to fly regularly from UK to Cincinnati for technical meetings, very often UK - Cinci, meeting next day, then back to the airport and overnight flight to UK. One night in the US.

Very disorientating, never could quite get the hang of it.

I used to have to travel for a living twice a year to support major airplane repairs. We would work 7 days a week for 12 hours. It was an endless cycle of airplane, hotel, airplane, hotel, airplane....but at least there was the jetlag to look forward to. Then we had to endure endless scrutiny of our expense reports, once we got back home. In short, business travel sucks.
