I don't know much about amps, unless they are bass amps

This will be delivered tomorrow. Is it a good amp or should I dump it on the first chump that wants to buy it?

It's a solid state amp with 150 watts output. My guess is the clean sounds fantastic and it will deliver clean at volumes that could peel paint off the walls. I would also guess the dirty channel leaves something to be desired. Dr. Internet says it weighs about 50 lbs and usually sells for about $200.

If you dont have cork marks on your nose, that could be a great amp. Set it clean, but some pedals or a multi FX in front of it, and off you go.

I always liked the red knob Fenders, though many consider them the red headed stepchild of Fender amps.

The clean tones are really good, and the over drive sounds are pure crap.
Use a gain pedal or three through the clean channel and you'll be loving the amp :thumb:

The only real issue with them is their age and the potential for age related failure.
Other than that, they are a solid amp.

I mostly play clean and SS Fenders can have great clean tones, so I'd keep it... if you want to dump it on me...
