    Nice looking Strat.

Agreed. They sound great, and were a solid upgrade for my Surf Green (Seafoam?) Squire.

Fair enough!! Like I said before, I don't condone these things but I do try and respect others decisions... but I would hope that these forums encourage honesty when the time comes to sell these modified decal guitars, I have seen too many dishonest sellers out there myself so I agree with your position 100%.

Then you just refinish the body to match the headstock!

And if that doesn’t work you re-do the headstock again!

    Nice guitar!

I'm not a fan of matching headstocks on Strats, so I wouldn't paint it if it were mine.

i have a Surf Green Bullet that i love:

I'm a proud owner of several Squiers and would never replace the logos with a Fender one. If George Harrison and Jeff Healey were ok with a Squier logo, you should be too. :)

IMO, aesthetically, they should be left alone. Of course this is all personal preference but nothing looks cooler than an older guitar with some mileage that has been used (not abused) I personally would spend the time and money on electronics and setup, only if needed.

That's a gorgeous image. Plus, I like your user name. :thumb:

    Also, what pups are those?

I've likely shared this elsewhere on a previous seafoam green bullet thread but hope it ok I share mine here too:

DIY relic’d two owners back, and for a DIY job not too bad. Then upgraded with a Wilkinson bridge/tremolo, and CM Daughtery ‘55 RI pickups by previous owner, a friend of mine. I changed the tuners to Fender “F” locking ones and changed the pickguard from white to black and the pickup covers and knobs to mint. Love it!

Not a fan of relic jobs, unless it is a true relic from being played so much but I have to admit that this is a great looking guitar!
Congrats, now you need a relic pickguard to match... what do you think?

i got some cream parts from Guitar Fetish, and also put in some Graph Tech String Saver saddles because I was breaking too many strings. Now they never break.

I found that if I roll off the tone controls to three and four with the volume knob at ten that it sounds much better. The action us just right.
