I hate my little fingers

    Yeah, this. 100% this. My first teacher was a little itty bitty dude from England who was a jazz guy through and through. Wonderful player. I've got average hands and his were maybe 75% the size of mine. He could play literally any chi d because he had, what he referred to, as proper wrist position. Check out old/strictly jazz cats and you'll notice their left hands along with playing vintage Gibsons through solid state amps.

    Subsequently, I've had to adjust to be able to use my thumb over the top of the fretboard. :(

    I saw one thread where guys were measuring their middle finger. 3 1/2" seemed to be the norm but 4" makes things much easier.

    My middle finger is about 4 -1/8th..Don't know that it's helped me much playing wise though. o_O
