fierce and squally! your tone, sir! SRV sits in with Manhattan era Stones! (all is well, by the way - i mean, besides the hell we all live in)

Thank you Monte. I had to join in this one to bid you cheerio. I know you’ll not be gone long but I’ve enjoyed hearing your progress and even stolen some ideas from your playing. You’re an asset to the forum, don’t be away too long :D

Please allow me to show off a bit :D

Bb6 is Gm7’s 1st inversion when G’s minor third (Bb) is the lowest note. It’s all about the context :D

Thank you monte, I appreciate it my friend. I’m glad you liked it :) I’ll have another go for sure once I study the chords well.

I'll answer this by bringing up my past.

I was born in the birthplace of jazz, studied jazz with some of the best teachers New Orleans had.

I also got a Master's in Music with a specialty in Theory and Composition.

    Of course I agree!

Some of the best jazz improvisors have also been fine jazz composers.

Roger and I wanted to do a collab on Monte's track, so here it is, "Too Many Blues":

In addition to Roger's Aussie moxie, I love his awesome guitar playing, dynamics and phrasing. Roger named the track and kicks it off.
