Ever have something you absolutely know has nothing to do with anything yet you can't shake wanting it anyway? For me it's this..

    Image3.jpg

Rational me knows perfectly well that a heel adjust neck is no better functionally, if not a bit more troublesome to deal with. But every time I see one I have to fight my wallet hand. One day I know the rational me will look the other way and I'll just get one, but it boggles my mind how a person can fixate on something so dang stupid. :)

It does look great compared to the nut hole. And really truss rod adjustments are pretty few and far between so the hassle of taking the neck of is pretty negated after the initial setup.

Could always sell your other neck to make up for it.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

If Leo designed it, it must be the right way.

    Just go for it Ron!

What and miss out on the inevitable new build that would happen because then I'd have a spare neck? Perish the thought! :)

You guys would be terrible at talking people off bridges that's for sure..lol

    Guilty.

I just had to have a "Old School" Tele. (even though I can not wait to give it jumbo frets - o_O )

The heel adjust clean headstock look and the standard issue bridge of the Classic Series 60's Tele did it for me since I currently do not have the time or money to find and buy a vintage 60's Tele.

I would love to get a Classic Series 60's Strat, also. (of course).
