Is famous pre-owned gear worth top dollar?

    Personal decision, as always. For me as a player it's not worth anything really. Or at least I can't think of a situation right now where I'd pay more. In fact, when I was hunting down my pre CBS I had one guitar on my short list by a famous player. Same price and actually in better condition then the same year model that I ended up buying. It wasn't a great guitar for me and I liked the non-famous one with no history to it better.

    I would suggest going to youtube. Search for "the bus tapes" and listen to them.

    I do not like or tolerate bullies. BR was absolutely a bully to other musicians and people in general when the mood hit him.

    I stand by my assessment - he was a genius player and a poor human being.
